Pro surfer Kalani Robb, who happens to be a MINI enthusiast, wanted “a board that would give me as much fun on the water as my MINI does on the road”. Christopher Weil, MINI’s head of exterior design, developed Robb’s idea into reality by working closely with Channel Islands.
The result is described as short, nimble and extremely sporty, with a little extra tail volume. According to Robb, who has “sea-tested” the designer surfboard, “Its wider outline and low rocker really make it fly.”
And just like a MINI pocket rocket, the MINI-designed surfboard can be customised with colour schemes and racing stripes.
