Editorial Team

Lee Nian Tjoe – Editor
As Torque's editor, Lee Nian Tjoe spends most of his time putting the magazine together. But between allocating duties to the team and chasing them for deadlines, Lee spends a lot of time getting behind the wheel, believing that "every car has a story (you) just have to tell it as it is".
Kimitsu Yang – Writer
Besides doing the job that he's actually paid to do, which is to score excellent feature stories and review cars, Kimitsu is a self-proclaimed backyard mechanic. His car is a never-ending project and his elbows are never free from grease.
Christopher Tan – Consulting Editor
As the Senior Correspondent at the Straits Times, Tan is no stranger to Singapore's readers or anyone in the country's auto industry. If there's breaking news in the transport system or wind of change blowing across the business, the Consulting Editor is sure to be on the case. His mantra is "to put the readers first", just as the magazine really.
Pradeep Paul – Contributing Sub-editor
His official work is to sit behind the desk and give the writers' work the final polish before they can go to print, but Paul also thinks of himself as something of an athlete, sweating at the gym "for the fun of it". To get his kicks behind the wheel, the Contributing Sub has driven across Russia and Siberia (although not at the same time).

Contributors

Dr Winston Lee
Dr Lee has started reviewing cars before the Internet was invented. The only thing to equal his love for wheels is the game of golf. Doc cleverly incorporates the hobby with cars by ensuring that every new subject he reviews to have space for at least a set of clubs. FYI: his V8 limousine has space for at least two full sets.
Dr Andre Lam
Dr Lam is known for two things: tyres and super cars. His wealth of experience and dedication to the cause has made his in-depth reviews on the two topics to be highly regarded by readers and companies alike.
Edric Pan
He is a lawyer by day and loving family man by night (and off-days). But at the first opportunity to hit the tracks, Pan becomes the test driver with a vengeance. He considers aggressive track driving as a form of relaxation. By our reckoning, his firstborn won't stray too far from this when he graduates from his paddle cars.
