LTA and company should stop improving the roads and start improving the road users instead. I daresay that at least half of all traffic jams and bottlenecks in Singapore are caused by stoopid motorists who only stare at the rear bumper in front of them and therefore react at the last minute to obstacles/obstructions/diversions/situations. These monkeys should be trained to look at least 20 car-lengths ahead (and make lane changes in good time), plan a smooth and progressive exit from the expressway, use throttle and brakes judiciously, and drive with due care and consideration.

But it's a lost cause, to be honest, because there are just too many monkeys making mayhem out on the roads, from the young and reckless to the old and clueless. And we wonder why Singaporeans seem to be getting into a disproportionate number of nasty car accidents overseas.
