There you go...
Now that I have got your undivided attention with this nice babe shot, I have to tell you about the Macau Grand Prix.
I attended the 55th edition of this famous event (yes, it's been running for 55 years now) and it was simply amazing.
I am not just referring to the racing. I was so surprised at how efficiently everything was put together given the constraints.
The Macau Grand Prix is run on a street circuit like our very own Singapore Grand Prix - except on a much, much tighter budget.
Yet, the organising committee (my sincere kudos to Patrick Castro and gang) managed to put together a full schedule of eight...yes, you heard (or read) me right, EIGHT races. And that's not counting the numerous practice and qualifying sessions.
They even managed to throw some drift demonstrations into the already overflowing schedule to entertain the crowds!
Best of all, every day, without fail, the roads which were closed for racing at 6am were open again at 6pm sharp. Now, that's efficiency for you!
There were no compromises on safety and best of all, there was minimal disruptions so as to keep everyone happy.
And here is the full rundown of the races that took place:
FORMULA 3 MACAU GRAND PRIX
WTCC - GUIA CUP RACE
MACAU MOTORCYCLE GRAND PRIX
MACAU GT CUP
MACAU ROAD SPORT CHALLENGE
TOURING CAR RACE
MACAU/HONG KONG INTERPORT RACE
FORMULA BMW PACIFIC
Phew! Now that's what you call a FULL racing weekend =)
