Story Dr Andre Lam

The new engine's exhaust bark is sharper and hits a higher register of tenor than before
It feels like it was only yesterday that the Gallardo was launched, even though it has been five exciting years. With each year, we see the feud between Lamborghini and Ferrari only getting more furious. The LP560-4 lands its blow like a well-honed sabre with its million dollar (literally) looks and brawny 560bhp. Surely Ferrari will have something to say about that…

QUICKLY
The baby Lambo gets a serious makeover. Enlarged engine not only makes more power, but sounds a lot more exciting too. Updated chassis ups the Gallardo's march to be regarded as a proper driver's car.
