The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) has always been recognised as one of the most prestigious and competitive on-make race series in the region. It became the first race series to confirm its place in the inaugural Formal 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix later this year.

The opportunity to lay rubber at racing speeds on the inaugural street race in Singapore had sent participation from the Republic skywards. In this year's series, Singapore will be represented by no less than six drivers over two teams on top of a Singapore-backed team, SC Gloval Racing. Among the drivers are veteran race drivers Ringo Chong and Mok Weng Sun.
