Technical highlights of the sixth-generation Bimmer flagship saloon include the use of carbon fibre reinforced plastic in its body structure (which saves up to 130kg in weight), the option of plug-in 2-litre petrol-electric hybrid power (740Le model) and laser headlights. Fancy features to make big bosses happy include Remote Control Parking (with the driver outside the vehicle), a “starlit sky” panoramic glass roof and a gadgety iDrive 5.0 operating system complete with hand-gesture interface. The new 7 Series will come to Singapore in November.
