Both the IM5 and IM6 come in Luxury, Sport, and Performance variants, with the single-motor Luxury spec eligible for a Cat A COE.
IM Motors, the premium sister brand of MG, is now retailing the electric IM5 Sedan and IM6 SUV. IM stands for “Intelligence in Motion” and the brand is officially distributed in Singapore by Eurokars Group.
Eurokars Group was founded by motor-tycoon Karsono Kwee in 1985. Its other franchises include Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, BMW, McLaren, Mazda, MG, and Pagani. Mr Kwee is its executive chairman.
Torque and Sgcarmart learnt more about the IM models at a private preview on 24 September 2025.
Both the IM5 and IM6 are available in three variants: Luxury, Sport, and Performance.
The Luxury variants are Cat A COE models powered by a single motor delivering 109kW (146bhp) and a stout 450Nm of torque. The latter figure is probably the highest among all Cat A passenger EVs available here.
The IM5 Luxury and IM6 Luxury have 75kWh LFP batteries that allow them to cover 440km and 390km respectively.

The IM5 and IM6 models have the same cockpit layouts.
Meanwhile, the IM5 Sport and IM6 Sport, which are Cat B COE models, have 100kWh NMC batteries that give them a range of 655km and 555km respectively. They pack more power, too, with each model offering 300kW (402bhp) and 500Nm of torque.
Finally, we have the IM5 Performance and IM6 Performance models. They, too, have the 100kWh battery, but boast 572kW (767bhp) and 802Nm of torque. With all-wheel-drive, the IM5 Performance hits 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds, while the IM6 does it in 3.48 seconds.
As expected, all six variants are well-equipped. Standard items include four-wheel-steering, an ADAS system with 13-functions, and heated and ventilated seats.
You can check out the IM Motors booth at the upcoming The Car Expo. Prices for the IM models (at time of publishing) are as follows:
