Stellantis-owned Leapmotor enters the Singapore market with the C10, a mid-to-large size crossover with a maximum range of 565km.
The number of Chinese EVs in Singapore continues to grow with the arrival of Leapmotor, whose C10 model is spearheading the brand’s launch.
The C10 is a mid-to-large size SUV that measures 4739mm long and stands 1680mm tall, making it comparable in size to a Tesla Model Y. It is one of the biggest Cat A COE SUVs available today, and it is currently priced at $175,999.

In terms of styling, the C10 looks modern, with sleek head lights and a slim light bar at the rear. Inside, drivers are presented with a clean and minimalist space, with the cockpit hosting a 10.25-inch instrument panel and a 14.6-inch touchscreen for the infotainment.
The C10’s equipment is on a par with competitors. Its standard kit includes ventilated and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an 840-watt, 12-speaker audio system, and ambient lighting. There’s also a remote vehicle control app that lets owners can connect to and monitor the car. For practicality, the C10 has a 435-litre boot, and a 32-litre frunk.

A unique feature of the C10 is that its seats are upholstered in OEKO-TEK Standard 100 fabric. The material – including threads, buttons, and accessories – is certified to be free from harmful substances. This should appeal to those who are concerned about allergies and health in general.
To help keep everyone secure, the C10 is equipped with seven airbags, a 360-degree Panoramic Camera with Transparent Chassis, and LEAP Pilot, a suite of 17 driver assistance and safety features.
In addition, the car has a torsional rigidity of 42,500Nm/degree, which is in the same league as some luxury cars. Nuclear submarine-grade 2,000MPa thermoformed steel is even used on the side impact crossbeams of the C10’s doors.

The C10’s motor produces 100kW (134hp) and 320Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to go from rest to 100km/h in 10.7 seconds. Leapmotor says the model averages 5.3km/kWh and has a combined driving range of 419km. However, the brand claims a much higher city driving range of 565km.
Leapmotor’s official agent here is Cycle & Carriage, which has an existing partnership with Stellantis as the agent for Citroen and Peugeot. Leapmotor is also Cycle & Carriage’s third Chinese EV brand after Maxus, and ORA.
