Cycle & Carriage, the official dealer for Kia in Singapore, has launched a concierge test-drive service.
Said service, which is free of charge, delivers a customer’s chosen Kia model to his or her doorstep for a test-drive. To avail of it, customers just need to fill out this online form.
The concierge service operates on weekdays between 10am and 6pm. Naturally, your preferred date and time is subject to availability.
Within the motor industry, a service like this is usually on an ad-hoc basis. Salespersons usually only bring test-drive cars to long-time customers.
ONE AT A TIME
Having the car sent to your doorstep is convenient. But you can only have one model at a time.
According to Kia, this is to enable customers to properly evaluate the car. It also lets the brand create a “unique customer experience around it.”
DISTANCES
Though the test-drives sessions are in two-hour blocks, the salesperson will recommend a drive of around 20 minutes. Customers will also be asked if they have a preferred route in their area.
Kia says that on average, the driving time is the same as when buyers visit the showroom.
PERKS?
You won’t get any additional discounts or goodies if you buy the car after the test-drive. However, any ongoing promotions in the showroom will also be offered to customers availing of this service.
