Audi e-tron 50.
Audi Singapore has expanded its electric model lineup with the addition of the e-tron 50 and e-tron Sportback 50 models.
The Audi e-tron 50 is the lower-power variant of the e-tron 55, which arrived last year. Its electric motor delivers 308hp (230kW) and 540Nm, compared to the 55’s 355hp (265kW) and 561Nm.
The e-tron 50 does not offer the 55 model’s boost function, which raises the electric motor’s outputs to 402hp (300kW) and 664Nm.
Debuting alongside the e-tron 50 is the e-tron Sportback, which has a more dynamic-looking profile thanks to its sloping rear end. Both it and the e-tron 50 share the same powertrain.
Both e-tron models are on display at the Audi e-tron Hub in Audi Centre Singapore.
ELECTRIFYING DISCOVERIES
The e-tron Hub aims to educate drivers on the latest features and charging technologies found in Audi’s electric models.
This is done through activities such as the AR and VR experiences. In the former, participants can learn about the parts and inner workings of the Audi e-tron.
Meanwhile, the VR experience lets participants practice various maintenance activities for the electric car. They can even virtually assemble the e-tron’s battery pack.
Also showcased at the Hub is Audi’s new partnership with SP Group, which is claimed to provide e-tron owners with a “seamless charging experience.”
Visitors can also check out the charging privileges that they will enjoy as an e-tron owner.
