Following the official launch of Audi Sport in May this year, Audi Singapore hosted myAudiworld members on an August Friday for the first-ever Audi Sport “Tech Talk” to understand the technical insights of Audi Sport vehicles.
During the event, Audi experts encouraged participants to get under the hood of the R8 and the RS3 Sportback, to discover how technologies born on the racetrack are applied on these Audi Sport models.
An attendee, Mr Gregory Liang, commented: “I am a sports car enthusiast and was quite happy to have the chance to discover what goes on beneath the bonnet. It was great being able to have our questions answered by experts who are passionate about the technology. It definitely brought my knowledge up to the next level.”
Another attendee, Mr Douglas Lim, said: “This is the first time I had the chance to learn about the technology in the Audi Sport models. The event provided an in-depth explanation beyond what you can get from just reading about the technologies. What I liked best about the session was that it was very personalised and interactive.”
Indeed, participants took part in quizzes and games, with prizes that included an Audi Sport watch, wallet and a weekend drive with the new RS3 Sportback. At the end of the experience, participants were shuttled to Hotel Vagabond bar to indulge in uniquely concocted Audi Sport cocktails and exquisitely prepared canapés. They were also treated to a unique hologram display showcasing floating 3D videos of Audi Sport cars.
RS5 owner, Mr Perry Wong, was the ultimate winner of the RS3 weekend drive. His guest, Ms Chen Bao Ling, also won a weekend stay for two at a luxurious suite in Hotel Vagabond.
