Available for the Defender 110, the roof tent’s rugged, easy-to-operate design allows customers to enjoy short overnight camping trips or lengthy overland expeditions in complete comfort.
Land Rover claims the tent is as tough and capable as the Defender itself. It utilises an intuitive design and premium quality materials that have been proven in the harshest climates.
A lightweight fibreglass shell protects the tent when it’s not in use and allows it to be erected single-handedly in seconds.
A simple unclipping of the rear fastening and a slight lift of the shell will allow the integral gas struts to take over and open the carbon grey fabric sides.
The Defender roof tent sleeps two adults on a “full-size luxury cotton mattress”. It comes with pillows, an interior LED light and a stowage net.
The tent can be easily accessed from either side of the vehicle via an extendable aluminium access ladder. When not in use, the ladder can be stored in the stowage bag inside the tent.
When packed, the tent remains flat for maximum stability and aerodynamic efficiency. When deployed, it measures 2.3 meters long, 1.3 meters wide and 1.5 meters high.
