The Porsche Taycan already offers everyday usability and performance. But for those that are seeking just a little more cargo space still, Porsche now has the perfect solution.
Enter the Performance roof box from Porsche Tequipment.
Top highlight for the new roof box is the fact that it has been comprehensively tested by Porsche for use at speeds of up to 200km/h on the Taycan Cross Turismo, with testing for other models to be done soon.
The roof box offers 480 litres of storage, and can be opened from either side.
Maintaining the controllability of the Taycan with the performance roof box fitted at high speeds was always the chief priority of the test programme, Porsche states.
Aesthetics-wise, if you don’t like gloss black, the box can also be specified in three other colours.
These include Dolomite Silver Metallic, Carrara White Metallic and Volcano Grey Metallic. And those side blades that adorn the box? They can come primed or painted in the individual vehicle colour.
The box can be conveniently mounted on all base carrier roof transport systems thanks to a quick-fastening system. It has a capacity of 480 litres and can be opened from both sides for easy and uniform loading.
The Performance roof box will be available through Porsche Centres from May 2021.
